Hero Arts Spring Catalog Release Blog Hop (+GIVEAWAYS!)

20 Feb

Good afternoon!  The spring catalog release from Hero Arts is now available and today we’re hopping to celebrate!! I’m sharing a few cards using my favorite products from the new catalog release!  You can find all of the new release products HERE!

First up is the beautiful Petal Burst stencil!  I ink-blended the stencil using a rainbow of reactive inks and spritzed it with iridescent shimmer spray for a soft sparkly finish!

I added a bold sentiment from Happy Thanks Stamp & Cut XL with black glitter paper and heat-embossing to finish this cheery card!  I wish you could see the sparkle and shine in person!

My second card was a little more labor intensive but worth it!  I started by using yellows and greys with the Color Layering Bee Florals stencils.  Once I was done stenciling I die-cut the design with the Bee Florals Window Fancy die.

Next I die-cut the same Bee Florals Fancy Window die from Pitch Black cardstock and used an exacto knife to cut away the design leaving only the black outline.  I matted it onto soft yellow blended background and then puzzle-pieced in my stenciled design.  I love the bold black background!  I finished the card with a sentiment from Friendly Messages!

My last card features the gorgeous new heroscape: Wisteria which is one of my all-time favorite flowers!  I stamped the wisteria several times with layering Hero hues inks and then die-cut them with the coordinating dies.  I ink-blended a slimline card panel with the same inks (but with a much softer hand) and layered the wisteria pieces to create a slimline design.

Finally I stamped the cute layering hummingbirds, sentiment, and petals onto my card panel to finish the card!  And that’s it!  I’ll have more to share soon but I hope this has given you some inspiration using the new release!

And while you’re shopping don’t forget to check out the Spring Hero Arts Stamp-Along!  I’m excited to be teaching alongside some of my Hero Arts team members and some special guests!  Snag it at the early bird pricing of $45!  You won’t want to miss it!

To celebrate the release, Hero Arts is giving away two $50 gift cards as a prize to three blog readers selected from the comments across all of the blogs in the hop so make sure you leave a comment at each hop stop for the most chances to win!  Please comment before 11:59PM PST on Sunday, February 26th!  You should have arrived from Ilina and Kelly is your next stop!

Thanks so much for visiting and enjoy the hop!! Happy shopping!

I love the bee card so much. I particularly love how you chose to allow the black and yellow to be the star colors and used gray as a compliment to them both without competing. Very well done!
