Altenew December 2019 Ink Release Blog Hop (+GIVEAWAY!)

5 Dec

Good morning!  I’m so excited to be hopping along to celebrate the December Ink Release from Altenew!  I’ve got a project and a giveaway to share so let’s get started!

Sugarplums and Fall Harvest Inks by Jessica Frost-Ballas for Altenew

Today I wanted to really focus on sharing the different shades of inks so I kept my card simple with a little blending a little stamping!  To start I blended the two lightest shades in the Sugarplums set: Pale Mauve and Amethyst inks onto a panel of strathmore bristol cardstock.  Then I started stamping the flowers and foliage from Wildflower Garden using all the shades in the Sugarplums set.  It’s pretty to see how the various shades stand out against the ink blending.  When I finished with all the flowers I added the centers with Butternut and Pumpkin Pie inks from the Fall Harvest set.

Next I blended Yellow Ochre, Pumpkin Pie, and Butternut ink onto a scrap panel of strathmore bristol cardstock.  I die-cut it with the Simply Hello die and then layered it onto another hello die-cut from white cardstock.  To finish the card I adhered the layered sentiment!

And that’s it!  Head over to check out the rest of the gorgeous inks from Altenew and let me know your favorites!

To celebrate this release, Altenew is giving away a $30 gift certificate to six lucky winners! Please leave a comment on the Altenew Card Blog and/or Altenew Scrapbook Blog by December 11th, 2019 for a chance to win. Six winners will be announced on the Altenew blogs on December 14th, 2019.

And, there’s even more good news! 😉 EVERY stop on the hop is giving away a $15 gift certificate so the more you comment, the more chances you have to win!  Please leave your comments by 11:59PM EST on November 11th and the winner will be announced on the Altenew blogs!

You should have arrived from Virginia and the Altenew Scrapbook blog is your next stop!  You can also find the full hop list on the Altenew Card Blog!

If you’ve gotten all the way to the end of my super long post, thanks so much for visiting and enjoy the hop!  If this is your first time at my blog I hope you’ll consider subscribing via the sidebar on the right or visiting me on Youtube or Instagram!  Have a fabulous crafty week, friends! 🙂
