Whew, okay, I apologize for the delay in getting my post completely…it’s been a busy recital-filled weekend and I just ran out of hours! This week we have an Anything Goes challenge at Christmas Card Challenges and I can’t wait to see what you’ll come up with!
Here’s my card:
This was a fairly simple card but one that makes quite a statement! I started off by stamping the background stamp from Penny Black onto a piece of dark blue cardstock with Memento Tuxedo Black ink. I used the MISTI to make sure I could get a clean and crisp image. Next I stamped the bottom layer of the evergreen tree with Silver Delicata pigment ink and heat-embossed it with clear powder. Then I stamped the top layer of the tree, the star, and sentiment with versamark and heat-embossed it with Diamond White glittered embossing powder from WOW. To finish the card I cut a frame of white cardstock with the Simon Says Stamp stitched rectangles die set and then mounted the panel to a card base of dark blue cardstock.
