Hero Arts Spring Catalog Release Blog Hop (+GIVEAWAYS!)

15 Feb

Good afternoon!  The spring catalog release from Hero Arts is now available and today we’re hopping to celebrate!! I’m sharing a few cards using my favorite products from the new catalog release!  You can find all of the new release products HERE!

I love all the cheery spring products in the catalog and this Magnolia coverplate die is definitely one of my faves!  I colored it with copic markers and then layered it over an ink-blended background for a dramatic pop of pink!

My husband loves hot sauce and hot peppers and puts a lot of effort into growing his own peppers in the summer (and recently learned how to make a variety of hot sauces)…so Hot Stuff was a must-have for me!  I loved coloring the cute pepper pot and paired it with a watercolored background for a bright and vibrant card!

I also decided to use up some of my cardstock scraps that have been piling up again so I die-cut the Yay from Congrats Yay Stamp & Cut XL from a variety of Hero Hues cardstocks and adhered them to a white card base on a rainbow diagonal.  I finished it with the shadow layer and sentiment from the same set die-cut from stark black and white!

Finally I die-cut the Water Lilies fancy dies and colored them with copic markers.  I paired them with another ink-blended background that I splattered with iridescent spray for a magical scene!

And that’s it for me!  Head over and check out the rest of the spring catalog release and then make sure to hop along for lots of inspiration!!

And don’t forget to add the newest Hero Arts Spring Stamp-Along to your cart while you’re shopping!  You’ll get two days jam-packed with card tutorials, tons of giveaways, and lots of crafty fun!

To celebrate the release Hero Arts is giving away three $50 gift cards as a prize to three blog readers selected from the comments across all of the blogs in the hop so make sure you leave a comment at each hop stop for the most chances to win!  Please comment before 11:59PM PST on Sunday, February 20th!  You should have arrived from Ilina and Libby is your next stop!

Thanks so much for visiting and enjoy the hop!!

I adore that YAY card. The colors are great and what a great use of scraps that have been piling up, I have them as well. I really love Hero Arts cardstock and the black is the best black cardstock ever. It’s excellent quality and they have great colors. I really love that Congrats Yay die cut.
