Good morning!! It’s time for a new Lawn Fawnatics challenge and we have a really pretty inspiration photo challenge for the holiday season! I can’t wait to see what you’ll create!!
Here’s what I created:
I used the frosted berries in the photo and the red and purple shades as the inspiration for my card today! To start I blended black soot distress oxide ink onto an A2 panel of raspberry cardstock. I splattered the panel with a little white gouache and then let it dry completely. After it was dry I swiped a versamark pad around the edges of the panel and heat-embossed it with white twinkle embossing glitter which is a mix of white embossing powder and silver embossing glitter. I think it gives the feel of a frosted window to frame my scene! I also stamped the sentiment from Frosty Fairy Friends in the center and heat-embossed it with white embossing powder.
Next I stamped the berries and fairies from Frosty Fairy Friends and the branches from A Bug Deal and colored them with copic markers. I die-cut them with the coordinating dies and then arranged them around the panel. I adhered the branches and berries with regular adhesive and used foam mounting tape for the fairies. Then I added accents with a white gel pen and a little spectrum noir clear sparkle to their wings. To finish the card I added crystal glaze to the tops of the branches and sprinkled them with crushed mica flakes, chunky, and prisma glitter. Once it was mostly dry I also added a layer of crystal glaze to the berries for a little extra shine!
And now it’s your turn! I can’t wait to see what you create!! You can link up your entries on the Lawn Fawnatics blog!
