I shared this shaker ornament tag on the Hero Arts blog this weekend:

And today I’m sharing a slimline card featuring one of the beautiful add-on sets!

Season's Greetings by Jessica Frost-Ballas for Hero Arts

To start I blended a panel of white cardstock cut to 8″ by 3.75″ with shaded lilac, tumbled glass, blueprint sketch, and chipped sapphire distress oxide ink.  I splattered the panel with water and blotted off the excess.  Once it was totally dry I splattered it with white gouache and set it aside to dry.

Next I die-cut the Tri-fold Edge Winter Pine Fancy Dies three times from white cardstock.  I trimmed each panel down to vary the height of the pines. Then I applied a little glitter lacquer (included in the kit, and AWESOME!) to each tree and used my finger to brush it down to cover the full tree!

I stamped a sentiment from the kit on the tallest panel with versamark and heat-embossed it with silver embossing powder.  Then I took the next tallest panel and trimmed it down to a width of 4″.  I scored a vertical line .25″ from the left side and adhered the score line behind the tallest panel.  Then I adhered the tallest panel to the blended panel.

Next I stamped another sentiment from the kit onto the shortest panel with versamark and heat-embossed it with silver embossing powder.  Then I adhered it to the middle panel with foam mounting tape for a little dimension.  I finished the card by trimming a piece of white cardstock to 8″ by 3.75″ and adhering it behind the blended panel to give it a little sturdiness, and a little more space to write in case the tree fold isn’t enough space for your message!

And that’s it!  Head over and pick up your My Monthly Hero kit and add-ons today!

To celebrate the release Hero Arts is giving away a $50 gift card as a prize to one blog reader selected from the comments across all of the blogs in the hop so make sure you leave a comment at each hop stop for the most chances to win!  Please comment before 11:59PM EST on Sunday, November 10th!  You should have arrived from Ilina and Julee is your next stop!

Thanks so much for visiting and enjoy the hop!!
