Ellen Hutson Summer of Stamping Essentials by Ellen Release Blog Hop (+GIVEAWAY!)

27 Jul

Good afternoon!  It’s almost the end of July and we’ve got one last celebration for the Summer of Stamping with Ellen Hutson: a mini release from Julie Ebersole!  Here are all the great releases this month in case you missed any:

  • S’More the Merrier – exclusive collaboration with Lawn Fawn
  • Essentials by Ellen release from Brandi Kinkaid
  • Peek-A-Boo Pals: Camp Wanna Stamp – exclusive collaboration with Avery Elle

This time we have three fantastic sets from Julie Ebersole: Mini Voices in my Head, Voices in My Head Vol. 3, Voices in My Head Accessories, and a combo bundle of all three sets!  Today I kept it super clean and simple for a fun punny card! 😉

And when I say clean and simple I really mean it! 😉 I don’t think I’ve ever made a card quite this quickly but I really love how it turned out!  I stamped the images from Mini Voices in my Head and the sentiment from Voices in my Head vol. 3 onto a white card base with intense-fied black ink.  Then I took a few scraps of ribbon and twine and tied them into “hair bows” and glued them to my card for a little pop of color!

And that’s it!  There are lots of different hair style stamps in the set that you could choose from to represent friends or family you’re missing during these difficult times.  I chose to keep it super simple and didn’t color the stamps but you could also color them or add the face stamps for lots of different looks!  I thought the sentiment was pretty clever because not only do I miss my friends I literally miss faces since we’re all wearing masks now.  I look forward to the day when we get to hug our friends and family safely without worrying about masks or social distancing.  Until then, this card will have to do for a hug!

To celebrate the release one lucky commenter will win $25 to the EH shop!!! To enter for a chance to win, make sure to leave comments at each stop along the hop!  Comment before Saturday, August 1st at 11:59pm PDT and the winner will be notified by email. You should have arrived from Therese and Julie is your next stop!

Thanks so much for visiting and enjoy the hop!!
