I shared this card using the May My Monthly Hero kit on my blog this weekend:

And today, I’m sharing an interactive card using the May 2022 My Monthly Hero kit!

May My Monthly Hero Kit by Jessica Frost-Ballas for Hero Arts

To start, I stamped the tile background stamp from the kit onto a piece of Periwinkle cardstock with embossing & watermark ink and heat-embossed it with clear embossing powder. Then I die-cut the kitchen scene from Dove White cardstock.  I also die-cut the pie and colored it with copic markers!

I added white cardstock and a little hand drawn ledge inside the oven and then placed my pie inside.  I used an old red and white striped washi tape to create a ‘towel’ handle for the oven door so that the door can be opened to reveal the pie inside!  Finally I stamped a sentiment onto Nautical cardstock and popped it up with foam mounting tape!

And that’s it for me!  I just love this entire kit…there are so many fun ways to use this kitchen themed set!! Head over and pick up your May My Monthly Hero kit and add-ons today before it sells out!

To celebrate the kit release Hero Arts is giving away a $50 gift card as a prize to one blog reader selected from the comments across all of the blogs in the hop so make sure you leave a comment at each hop stop for the most chances to win!  Please comment before 11:59PM EST on Sunday, May 8th!  You should have arrived from Ilina and Lydia is your next stop!

Don’t forget to subscribe to my YouTube channel for more Hero Arts inspiration!  Thanks so much for visiting and enjoy the hop!!
