Sending Smiles!

4 Nov

CRAFTY DESTASH – I’ve updated my destash items.  You can see all of the items here and you can click on the individual photos to open up the photo in Instagram.  Alternatively you can follow my destash account on Instagram @jesscraftydestash!  Happy shopping!

Good morning!  I’ve got a quick card to share using a stamp set that I’ve had on my wishlist forever and finally got my hands on a few weeks ago!  I know I’m totally behind as this stamp set from Mama Elephant has been out for years but I’m so glad to finally have it in my stash! 🙂 Oh, and don’t forget to check out giveaway details at the bottom of this post!

I was only able to get one happy mail card out today but one is better than none!  I’m working on a batch of cards for the Caring Hearts Card Drive and I’m waiting for envelopes.  I’m hoping they’ll be ready to be mailed out Thursday!

November 2015 Total Cards Mailed: 7

So this is a pretty straightforward card…I stamped the images from Up and Away with Memento Tuxedo Black ink and then colored them with copic markers.  I also added a little clear wink of stella to the balloons.  I cut them with my Scan N Cut and then worked on the rest of my card.

I die-cut all the scenery pieces using different Mama Elephant sets, adhered them with my ATG gun, and then stamped the sentiment with Versafine and embossed it with clear powder.  On a side-note, I love those snow-capped mountains from Mama Elephant’s last release…they’re so cute!

This card will head out to my best friend later this week as part of Jennifer McGuire’s Share Handmade Kindness challenge!  If you haven’t heard about it I encourage you to visit her blog and check it out!

Anyway, thanks so much for visiting and have a fantastic day!

Giveaway:

I ordered an extra of the new Hero Arts Acts of Kindness stamp set that was designed for Jennifer’s challenge and I would love to find it a good home!  Leave a comment on any of my blog posts between November 1st and 10th for a chance to win.  You can comment everyday for a total of 10 entries and I’ll announce a winner on November 11th!

Love the little bear floating with his handful of balloons.
I have a lot of stamps that I had to have – and they are sitting on the shelf unused. Someday they will be the very one I need – until that time they are sitting……..
    take care
    thanks for sharing.

How funny I just sent out a card with this exact image (well I used the umbrella from the set).
Your card is so cute and I love how you are challenging yourself to send out so many cards.

Love this card. It’s the first time I’ve seen those mountains done in black. It’s really nice. It makes the other colors pop.
