Simon Says Stamp One of a Kind Release!

21 Jun

Hello!!  The Simon Says Stamp One of a Kind release is live and it’s full of must-have fun, summery products!  I wanted to share two cards I made with two of the new sets!

I love the new Bouquet of Thanks set!  I stamped it with copic-friendly intense black ink and then colored it with copic markers.  I added a layer of spectrum noir clear sparkle to the flowers then used the coordinating die to die cut it out…and can I just say how fabulous that die is?!  I love that it gets all the tiny details and inner parts cut out!

Thanks by Jessica Frost-Ballas for Simon Says Stamp

Next I blended the new Watermelon dye ink onto a piece of white cardstock and die-cut the bottom edge with the Drifting Stitches border die that was released last month in the Cherished release!  I mounted that on a white card base ad then added the flowers with foam mounting tape.  Then I swiped the Watermelon ink pad onto a second piece of white cardstock and die-cut the large Script Thanks shadow.  I die-cut the inner layer with white cardstock and layered it on top of the pink shadow.  I adhered them to the card base and then added a sprinkling of sparkling clear sequins to finish the card!

My second card goes in a totally different color scheme and I’m really loving the combination of navy, gold, and pink!  I stamped the floral image from Bouquet of Thanks onto soft navy cardstock with black ink and then colored it with polychromos colored pencils.  Next I stamped the outline over the colored pencils and heat-embossed it with gold tinsel embossing powder before die-cutting it with the coordinating die.

Next I stamped the Thank You sentiment from Bouquet of Thanks across a panel of soft navy cardstock with versamark and heat-embossed it with gold embossing powder.  I layered my flowers over the sentiment background and adhered it with foam mounting tape.  Then I die-cut the Script Thanks word with navy blue cardstock.  I pressed a versamark pad over the larger shadow die cut and heat-embossed it with gold tinsel embossing powder.  I layered them together and used foam mounting tape to adhere them to my card panel.

And those are my first two cards using the Simon Says Stamp One of a Kind release and here are a couple of my other favorite sets from this release:

I love the new watermelon dye ink! I’m typically not a fan of red, but this has enough pink in it that it’s absolutely beautiful! Thank you for sharing your cards. They’re gorgeous!
