Altenew Craft-A-Flower Blog Hop (+GIVEAWAYS!)

7 Dec

Good morning!  I’m joining Altenew to celebrate the release of their newest Create-A-Flower and one of my all-time favorite flowers: Snowdrops!  It’s been many years since they’ve actually come up in our garden when there was also snow on the ground but they’re one of my favorite ways to tell that spring is on the way!

To start I die-cut the Create-A-Flower Snowdrops from white cardstock and two pale shades of green cardstock.  I adhered the flowers together with liquid glue and added a little spectrum noir clear sparkle to the colored centers.  Then I created my background by blending speckled egg, blueprint sketch, and chipped sapphire distress oxide ink onto a panel of strathmore bristol smooth cardstock.

I tore white cardstock to create my snowbanks and stamped a sentiment from You Are Beautiful.  I adhered them to my background and then added in my snowdrops to finish the card.  And that’s it!  It’s super simple to create these flowers but they are so very striking in their simplicity!

Head over to check out Create-A-Flower Snowdrops from Altenew and remember that you can subscribe so you never miss a release!

To celebrate this release, Altenew is giving away a $50 gift certificate to 1 lucky winner and a $15 gift certificate to 10 winners! Please leave a comment on the Altenew Card Blog and/or each designer’s blog post on the blog hop list below by 12/13/2020 for a chance to win. Altenew will draw 11 random winners from the comments left on each stop of this blog hop and announce the winners on the Altenew Winners Page on 12/15/2020.

You should have arrived from Emily and Amy is your next stop!  You can also find the full hop list on the Altenew Card Blog!

If you’ve gotten all the way to the end of my super long post, thanks so much for visiting and enjoy the hop!  If this is your first time at my blog I hope you’ll consider subscribing via the sidebar on the right or visiting me on Youtube or Instagram!  Have a fabulous crafty week, friends! 🙂
