Christmas Card Challenges #23: Color Inspiration

8 May

Good afternoon!  We have a fun color palette to inspire you this week!

And here’s what I created:

https://www.allthesparkle.com/ccc23-2/I really loved the mix of greens and grays in the inspiration palette and thought the Holiday Pine Branches stamp set from Hero Arts would be perfect for my card!  I started by stamping the sentiment in versamark and embossed it with silver embossing powder.  Next I stamped the greenery all around the border of my card using a variety of green inks and one greyish tan ink to match the palette.  I trimmed the panel down to 4″ by 5″ and a quarter and adhered it to a dark grey card base.  Finally I added a few pearl embellishments to bring out the pretty cream color in the inspiration palette!

And now it’s your turn to get crafty!  We provide an inspiration palette or photo each week but really, the only rule is that you create a holiday card!  For even more inspiration, check out what the rest of the Christmas Card Challenges design team has created!

Jess, I love your take, it’s beautiful! That would be a gorgeous Xmas card but a lot of work to make duplicates. TFSAI
