Good morning! Today I’m excited to be a stop on the hop for the Hello Summer release from Honey Bee Stamps! I decided to play with the fun new Sand Castle Builder dies and patterned paper to create my cheery beach scene!

I die-cut the Sand Castle Builder and colored it with copic markers. Once I was finished coloring I decided to add a little swipe embossing to the castle edges with gold tinsel embossing powder.
I used paper from the beautiful Beach Vibes Patterned Paper pack for my background. Then I added even more sparkle by brushing nuvo crystal glaze along the waterline and sprinkling it with prisma and chunky glitter. I added my sentiment from Hello Summer and then adhered the castle with a mix of foam tape and liquid adhesive! I think the full card took me about 15 minutes and most of it was copic-coloring. You could also make this card just using colored cardstock for the castle and it would be a five minute or less card but still one that’s super impactful! 🙂
