Good morning! I’m beginning to realize that it’s more difficult than I thought it’d be to blog daily…but I’m determined to keep trying! For some reason I was really having a creative block yesterday but I flipped through my stamps a few times and landed on a stamp set that I’ve owned for a long time but only used once. As you know, CAS is not my usual style, but every once in awhile something just clicks! It took my brain awhile to turn on but I’m really glad it did!
I love these delicate little butterflies from Clearly Besotted! I simply heat-embossed them with gold tinsel powder, colored them with one zig clean color real brush marker, and blended out the color with my clear wink of stella brush marker! I added the sentiment on a vellum flag and die-cut the watercolor paper with a scalloped rectangle die!
And I got one card prepped and ready for the mailbox tomorrow, worked on a few cards for the Caring Hearts Card Drive, and started a handful for a Flickr Christmas/Holiday card exchange! That one will be a lot of fun…only one card is going to a US address, the other five are international! Anyway, I should have several cards ready for the mailbox on Monday but for now:
November 2015 Total Cards Mailed: 34
Thanks so much for visiting and for all your sweet comments and encouragement! I really appreciate you all more than you’ll ever know!!
EDIT: Unfortunately as I was working on the supply list for this post I realized that the stamp set I used, Flutterby Dreams, from Clearly Besotted has been discontinued. So sorry!!
