Good morning! It’s time for a new Lawn Fawnatics challenge and we have a fun challenge! I can’t wait to see what you’ll create!! 🙂
And here’s what I created!
The Fall Release from Lawn Fawn is here and it is jam-packed with fantastic products for this challenge! I combined several of them to put together this autumn-inspired card!
To start I created my background which inspired the palette for the rest of the card! I blended Dried Marigold, Worn Lipstick, Abandoned Coral, and Seedless Preserves distress oxide ink onto a panel of strathmore bristol cardstock. Then I die-cut a ton of leaves and flowers from Leafy Tree Backdrop: Portrait and Acorn House and blended them with the same colors. I also die-cut the Acorn House and Lift the Flap Tree Backdrop from kraft and chocolate bar cardstock and blended them with Tea Dye and Gathered Twigs distress oxide ink. Finally I die-cut the Grassy Hillside Borders from sage cardstock and blended it with Evergreen Bough ink. I also added a few die-cut elements of the Acorn House from black cardstock and vellum!
Then I stamped the squirrels from Let’s Go Nuts onto white cardstock with Gathered Twigs distress oxide ink and heat-embossed them with clear embossing powder for a warmer look. Then I colored them with warm grey copic markers and die-cut them with the coordinating dies. I also stamped a sentiment from Den Sweet Den onto black cardstock with versamark and heat-embossed it with white embossing powder before trimming it down to a thin label. I adhered all the elements of my scene with a mix of regular adhesive and foam mounting tape for a little dimension. Then I finished the card with white gel pen accents and a touch of glitter on the flower centers!
And now it’s your turn! I can’t wait to see what you create!! You can link up your entries on the Lawn Fawnatics blog!
