Let's Make The Mimosa Out of This Day by Jessica Frost-Ballas for Hero Arts

I am a HUGE fan of brunch so when I saw the Gal Pal Brunch set I was smitten! 😉 To start I stamped the champagne flutes and citrus slices with versamark and heat-embossed them with silver embossing powder.  I colored them with copics and then die-cut them with the coordinating dies.  I stamped the sentiment onto black cardstock and heat-embossed it with white embossing powder.  I trimmed it down to a label and then worked on the background!

Let's Make The Mimosa Out of This Day by Jessica Frost-Ballas for Hero Arts

It’s a little tricky to see in photo but I stamped the Bursting With Love Bold Prints stamp onto a piece of white cardstock with versamark and heat-embossed it with sparkle embossing powder.  Then I trimmed it down to 4″ by 5.25″ and adhered it to a white card base.  Next I layered the glasses, citrus and sentiment and adhered them with a mix of regular adhesive and foam mounting tape.  Finally I added a little clear lacquer to the glasses and sprinkled them with Snowfall glitter!  This is such a fun set and perfect for your best girlfriends! 🙂

To celebrate the release Hero Arts is giving away one My Monthly Hero kit as a prize to one blog reader selected from the comments across all of the blogs in the hop so make sure you leave a comment at each hop stop for the most chances to win!  If you win and have already purchased the kit you will be reimbursed!  Please comment before 11:59PM EST on Sunday, January 13th!  Here’s a list of all the stops on the hop:

Jessica, your gal pal card celebrating brunch is so fantastic! I love the silver with the yellow! I’m mimosa over the moon about it! Sorry, poor pun but a great card. I really like your sandwich board card too! I am really digging that die and very excited to start using it! I like how you made the snowy effect on the board and the glitter in the champagne glasses! Two unique projects! You are making me second guess my decision to not get the gal pal brunch stamp set… darn it! I will just have to live vicariously thru you! Thanks for two GREAT cards!
