Waffle Flower January Release (+GIVEAWAYS!)

5 Jan

Good morning!  I’m so excited to be a stop on the hop for the January release from Waffle Flower!  Here’s what I created today using the fun new layered Heart Blooms stencil set!

Heart Blooms stencil by Jessica Frost-Ballas for Waffle Flower

This clever stencil set allows you to easily layer inks to create a pretty floral pattern!  I used stormy sky, chipped sapphire, spun sugar, picked raspberry, and abandoned coral distress oxide inks to ink the stencil.  After it dried I added a layer of moonstone glimmer paste to the top layer to add a little shimmer and sparkle to my flowers.

I set it aside to dry completely while I stamped the sentiment from the new Happy Birthday set.  I love how the set has two big happy birthday sentiments in a variety of fonts and then lots of little messages to build a bigger sentiment!  I stamped mine with versamark on navy cardstock and heat-embossed it with white embossing powder.  Then I used the coordinating die for the large sentiment and trimmed down the smaller sentiment to a thin label.  I popped those up with foam tape and that was it!  These stencils make creating cards super quick and easy and you could do all sorts of color combinations to make different sets of cards!

And that’s it for today!  I’ll have more to share later this month but I hope my card inspired you and I’d love to know your favorite products from the January release!!

To celebrate the blog hop, Waffle Flower is giving away $25 gift certificates to THREE lucky winners. You can leave a comment on this blog and along the hop by 11:59pm ET on January 11th, 2021 for your chance to win. Winners will be chosen at random from the comments left on any of the posts in this blog hop and will be announced on the Waffle Flower blog on January 13th, 2021. You should have arrived from Laura and Arjita is your next stop!

Thanks so much for visiting and have a fantastic day!

Love the laying stencils. Did you use the glimmer on the third stencil? The flower portion looks larger on stencil then the glimmer portion on your card.
