Coffee Loving Cardmakers Sponsor Solo: Your Next Stamp

16 Feb

Good morning!  Last week I shared a card featuring the Coffee Loving Cardmakers Sponsor Solo: Concord & 9th.  And this week I’m back with another card featuring Your Next Stamp!

Look at all the fun coffee, cocoa, and tea themed stamp sets they have!!  They were kind enough to send me the Perk Up stamp set that I used to create this card!

I love how the stamp set has just about every coffee image you could want: a traditional coffee maker, an espresso maker, a coffee bean grinder, a french press, a spilled mug, a left and right handed mug, faces for the mugs, and a bunch of cute sentiments!  I will DEFINITELY be using this stamp set during the Spring Coffee Lovers Blog Hop that starts on March 18th!!

To create my card I stamped the espresso machine on copic friendly cardstock and colored them with copic markers.  I die cut the image with a stitched oval shape die and I also added a little Amplify to the top of the mugs to create foam and heated them until the paint puffed!  Next I used a coverplate die from Lil’ Inkers to create a background that looks like splashes of coffee!  I stamped the sentiment on vellum and heat-embossed it with white embossing powder.  I fussy cut a fishtail banner and adhered it to the oval.  Finally I used foam tape to mount the oval to the coverplate background and added a little vellum tape behind the sentiment to make sure it wouldn’t move around!

I hope you’ll head over to the Coffee Loving Cardmakers blog to see the other creations using Your Next Stamp!  And many thanks to Karen and Your Next Stamp for providing the Perk Up stamp set!  Thanks so much for visiting and have a great day!
