Coffee Loving Cardmakers Sponsor Solo: Concord & 9th

8 Feb

Good morning!  If you’re looking for my Lawnscaping post please scroll down or click here!

We’ve started a new series on the Coffee Loving Cardmakers blog where we feature a different super sponsor each week!  This week we’re focusing on one of my favorite new companies:

They’ve got a really cute coffee themed stamp set called Let’s Chat that has fun images that can be paired together in tons of different ways!

And here’s what I created!

I started off by stamping the cup outline onto a piece of white cardstock.  I stamped one in black ink and the rest in a light grey ink.  I colored the black cup with copic markers but left the others alone.  Then I used various shades of brown ink to stamp the contents of the cups.  I stamped the heart latte art with white pigment ink in the white cups and then heat-embossed it with white embossing powder in the blue cup so that it would stand out a little more.  Next I stamped the sentiment onto a piece of vellum cut slightly larger than an A2 card base and heat-embossed it with gold powder.  I scored the vellum to an A2 size and then folded the edges over the background panel and adhered them to the back of the panel so there would be no need for glue or adhesive on the front of the card!  Finally I adhered it to a white card base and that was it!  I really liked how this card turned out so I created several more but used a different colored cup for each one!

I hope you’ll head over to the Coffee Loving Cardmakers blog to see the other Concord and 9th inspired creations!  Thanks so much for visiting and have a great Monday!
