Here’s what I created with the kit:

Sending Warm Wishes by Jessica Frost-Ballas for Hero Arts

I decided to use some of the add-on items to create a dimensional card!  I started by die-cutting the Winter Hearth stamp and cut fireplace using Shizen watercolor paper (that was included in a previous kit).  It’s a thick, textural paper and I thought it would give the look of rough bricks.  Next I blended charcoal ink onto the edges of the fireplace to give it a worn grey look.  Then I stamped the stockings onto red and green cardstock and heat-embossed them with gold embossing powder before die-cutting them with the coordinating dies.

Next I stamped the log onto white cardstock, masked it, and stamped again before coloring them with copic markers.  Then I inked the flames with distress inks, spritzed them with water and stamped them over the log.  Finally I stamped the grate with versamark and heat-embossed it with black detail embossing powder.  I cut that out and adhered it behind the fireplace.  I stamped the sentiment onto red cardstock and heat-embossed it with gold embossing powder before adhering the fireplace to finish the card.

I love how realistic the card looks and the variety of textures and dimension!

To celebrate the release Hero Arts is giving away one kit as a prize to one blog reader selected from the comments across all of the blogs in the hop so make sure you leave a comment at each hop stop for the most chances to win!  If you win and have already purchased the kit you will be reimbursed!  Please your comments before 11:59PM on October 8th!  Here’s a list of all the stops on the hop:

I just love how cozy your fireplace looks. It’s a very warm feeling card, and it evokes thoughts of hot cocoa and cuddling up in front of the fire, enjoying a cold Winters Eve… This enter my name in the giveaway for Hero Arts. I am crossing my fingers, hoping I win! Thank you for sharing your talents with us.

O wow, what a beautiful card!! Love it!! The white textured paper really does look like brick and then edging it with th charcoal and putting it on the red just makes it pop. Your fire looks amazing too.
