Where Creativity Meets C9 Challenge #3: Sparkle and Shine

Good morning!  Today we’re starting the third challenge for Where Creativity Meets C9 and our theme is Sparkle and Shine!  You can find all the details and the rest of the design team’s creations here!

And here’s what I created for our Sparkle and Shine theme:

I love the frame die and that floral frame is so pretty!  I started by cutting the die with white cardstock and then heat-embossing the entire frame with holographic sparkle embossing glitter (one of my favorites if you couldn’t tell).  Then I lightly outlined where the flower would fall on a piece of watercolor paper and then used my mission gold watercolors to add a watercolor wash behind the die.  I softened the colors with a layer of iridescent medium.  Next I stamped the sentiment, heat-embossed it with silver embossing powder and then added splatters of purple across the paper.  I created a shaker frame and filled the shaker with silver, purple, and clear sequins and beads.  So I think it fits the bill for sparkle and shine! 😉
