Colorado Craft Company: Anita Jeram Winter Holiday Release Hop (+GIVEAWAYS)!

Good morning!  I’m excited to be hopping along to share the newest Anita Jeram release from Colorado Craft Company: Winter Holiday!  For a chance to win the entire Winter Holiday release, make sure you shop through an affiliate link!  Today I’m sharing two cards, a shaker card using Ice Holiday and another card using Furry Christmas!

My first card was a little tricky to photograph since it’s a shaker card.  I stamped the adorable penguins from Ice Holiday onto a panel of white cardstock and then masked them off.  Then I blended picked raspberry, spun sugar, shaded lilac, and blueprint sketch distress oxide ink to create a wintery sky. I splattered the panel with shimmer spray and white gouache and then let it dry.

Once the background was dry I colored the penguins and snow with copic markers.  I added a sentiment from Ice Holiday and then used an acetate shaker sheet to create a full front shaker filled with iridescent confetti and snowflakes.  I upped the contrast a little bit on the close-up photo so you could see the penguins a little more clearly but the color of the top photo is more true to life!  Regardless, the penguins are ADORABLE and this shaker card was so fun to create!

For my second card I stamped Furry Christmas onto a panel of white cardstock.  Then I simply colored the scene with copic markers.  I stamped a sentiment from Furry Christmas onto black cardstock and heat-embossed it with white embossing powder.  I trimmed it down to a thin label and adhered it to the panel with foam mounting tape.  Finally I adhered it to an A2 panel of black cardstock and added some accents with a white gel pen, spectrum noir clear sparkle, and nuvo crystal glaze!
