Hero Arts: March My Monthly Hero Countdown

3 Mar

Good morning!  I’m over on the Hero Arts blog showing the first sneak peek of the March My Monthly Hero kit!  Make sure to head over and comment on all the countdown posts for a chance to win the kit before you can buy it! 😉  Here’s a sneak peek of my card on the Hero Arts blog:

Rooting for You by Jessica Frost-Ballas for Hero Arts

And I’ve been having so much fun with this kit that I made another card! 😉 This one uses more stamps from the kit and is definitely a little more CAS than my first card!

When I first opened the kit and looked at the stamps I missed this adorable mouse but when I was looking at the set a few days ago I noticed him and then realized that he’s sewing!  *…insert all the heart eye emojis here…* So I just had to use him!  I stamped him with copic-friendly Hero Arts intense black ink and then colored him with copic markers before using the coordinating die to cut him out.  Then I stamped that great fireplace with a pale grey ink and then stamped the sentiment with teal ink.  Finally I adhered my mouse with a little foam mounting tape!

Seriously guys, I sigh everytime I look at him…it’s true love!  And I can’t wait to show you the rest very soon!! 😉 Thanks so much for visiting and have a fabulous Friday!!

Heart eye emojis, indeed. That has to be the cutest card I’ve seen in…like, forever. A-dor-a-ble. Can’t wait to see the rest of the kit.

The bunny is gardening! Rather than foraging. Ha! This is awesome.
