Lovely Layers: Anemone – Honey Bee Stamps Vintage Christmas Release

14 Oct

Good evening!  I’m just popping in to share that the gorgeous Vintage Christmas release from Honey Bee Stamps is NOW AVAILABLE! I’ll be sharing lots of cards using the release in the coming weeks but wanted to pop in tonight to share this pretty card using my favorite set, Lovely Layers: Anemone!

Lovely Layers Anemone by Jessica Frost-Ballas for Honey Bee Stamps

Isn’t that die set beautiful?! I started by die-cutting the layers with Lawn Fawn Raspberry cardstock, Hero Arts Pitch Black cardstock, and Tonic Black Sapphire glitter cardstock.  I added white pigment ink to the center of the raspberry layers for a little contrast and adhered each layer together with foam dots for dimension.  I die-cut the foliage with Bazzill Sugar Wafer cardstock so it wouldn’t take away from that pretty pink!

Then I die-cut the Pierced Fancy Flakes and Fancy Flakes A2 Cover Plate die from white cardstock and adhered it to a white card base.  I die-cut the Peace Buzzword from black glitter and vellum cardstock and layered them together.  Finally I adhered the flower and foliage with atg adhesive and added the sentiment on top!

Be sure to check out the full Vintage Christmas release from Honey Bee Stamps and the great ‘free bee’ included with all purchases over $75!

To celebrate the release I’m giving away a $30 gift card to Honey Bee Stamps!  Please leave a comment letting me know your favorite product from the Vintage Christmas Release before 11:59PM EST on Thursday, October 21st for a chance to win and the randomly chosen winner will be emailed on the 22nd!

Interested in the products I used?  To make them easy for you to find, I have listed them below. (Affiliate disclosure can be found here). Your purchases help keep my blog running and I thank you for the support!

Beautiful card :-). I would have a hard time choosing among the layering fireworks, hug in a mug, and the scene builder bundle. Thanks so much for the opportunity to win!!

‘Peace’ is my very favorite word so I truly adore your pretty card.
Love the snowflake BG. I really love all of the new stamp sets, but
I need a ‘postcard’ set so I’ll pick that as my favorite. I like to make
    my own postcards. 🙂

There are a lot of nice pieces in this release. To pick a favorite I have to go with Merry Little Mice. I am really drawn to the one image of the mouse caroling. It feels nostalgic.
