I shared this card using the My Monthly Hero kit on my blog this weekend:

October My Monthly Hero Kit by Jessica Frost-Ballas for Hero Arts

And today, I’m sharing a fun pair of cards using the Mazel Tov add-on set:

Mazel Tov by Jessica Frost-Ballas for Hero Arts

For my first card I stamped the menorah and sentiment from Mazel Tov onto a panel of Dove White cardstock with embossing ink and heat-embossed it with platinum embossing powder.  I also stamped the Star of David solid and outline images with embossing ink and heat-embossed them with the same embossing powder.  I colored the menorah with warm grey copic markers and Y15 and Y19 copics.  I finished the card by stamping more of the stars with a variety of blue inks.

Mazel Tov by Jessica Frost-Ballas for Hero Arts

My second card is a little cheeky play on words using ‘The Dreidel Song.’  I simply stamped the dreidel stamp three times with intense-ified black ink.  Then I die-cut the word ‘oh’ using the Luggage Tag Alpha dies and pitch black cardstock.  I adhered it to the card panel to finish this CAS card!

And that’s it for me!  I just adore the nostalgia of this kit and add-ons! Head over and pick up your October My Monthly Hero kit and add-ons today before it sells out!

To celebrate the kit release Hero Arts is giving away a $50 gift card as a prize to one blog reader selected from the comments across all of the blogs in the hop so make sure you leave a comment at each hop stop for the most chances to win!  Please comment before 11:59PM EST on Sunday, October 10th!  You should have arrived from Ilina and Lydia is your next stop!

Don’t forget to subscribe to my YouTube channel for more Hero Arts inspiration!  Thanks so much for visiting and enjoy the hop!!

Those gold highlights on your storefront card really make it look super festive. It’s also nice to see a menorah and dreidels on cards. They’re really lovely and fun.

I love your window card. What a good idea to use the embossing pen for selective embossing! I always forget they exist (and that I have one!) so I forget about that option. Maybe I should just keep it right on my crafting desk, lol so I remember it’s existence and to use it, lol! I love the menorah card too, but the dreidel card is a little stark for me. I think I would have put color on it somewhere – but I’m a color kind of gal. The design is great and the idea very cute!
