Good morning! Today I’m thrilled to be hopping along with some crafty friends to celebrate the new release from Heffy Doodle! We have lots of crafty inspiration and a fun giveaway so be sure to check out the hop at the bottom of this post!
I just loved the sweet deer from the new Deer to Me set and decided to focus on them for today’s card! I stamped the images from Deer to Me with versafine and then heat-embossed them with clear embossing powder. I colored them with copics and then die-cut them with the coordinating dies. I used the E30s range for the deer and E70s for the birch trees.
Then I created my background with distress oxide inks in tumbled glass, shaded lilac, and dusty concord! I added splatters of water, white gouache, and shimmer spray and set it aside to dry. Next I tore a snow bank for my deer from white cardstock and added a sentiment from Deer to Me. Finally I adhered the snow and trees to the background with regular adhesive and popped up the deer with a little foam mounting tape to finish the card!
