Good morning! It’s time for a new Lawn Fawnatics challenge and we have a fun challenge! I can’t wait to see what you’ll create!! 🙂
And here’s what I created!
One of my all-time favorite Lawn Fawn sets is Thanks a Bushel so I wanted to make it the star of my card! It’s just a fun set to color and perfect for fall and teachers! I stamped the images from that set as well as the schoolhouse and bus from Village Heroes and colored them with copic markers before die-cutting them with the coordinating dies.
Next I die-cut the hills with the Stitched Hillside Borders and blended them with Twisted Citron and Mowed Lawn distress oxide ink. Then I blended a sky using Tumbled Glass, Salty Ocean, and Blueprint Sketch. Once they were totally dry I stamped the sentiment from Thanks a Bushel with versafine and heat-embossed it with clear embossing powder. Then I grounded the scene by die-cutting the Leafy Tree Backdrop: Portrait using the retired Lawn Fawn Knock on Wood patterned paper. I ink blended the greenery of the tree with the same green oxide inks and adhered it to the patterned paper. Then I adhered the scene together and finished it with the Leafy Tree Backdrop on top! And that’s it! 🙂
And now it’s your turn! I can’t wait to see what you create!! You can link up your entries on the Lawn Fawnatics blog!
Thanks so much for visiting and have an amazing day!
