Lil’ Inker Designs: January 2017 Release – Day 2 (+GIVEAWAY!)

12 Jan

For the first day of the January Lil’ Inker Designs release please click here!

Good morning and welcome to the second day of the January release for Lil’ Inker Designs!  We’re introducing a bunch of gorgeous Valentine’s Day themed stamps and dies and they’re all available right now!  I love that Laura doesn’t make you wait to shop the new release so I totally understand if you want to go shop now, but make sure you come back and comment for a chance to win the entire January release!  That’s correct…one lucky commenter will win everything!  There’s more details on how to win at the end of my post!  Today I’m showcasing the Love You More stamps and the Today and Always Greeting die so let’s get started!

Today and Always by Jessica Frost-Ballas for Lil' Inker Designs

I LOVE Laura’s Greeting dies and this one is no different!  I die-cut Today and Always from kraft cardstock and then adhered it over a floral pattern stamped with Fresh Cut Flowers!  I kept the background simple and die-cut white cardstock with the Quilted Stitched So Knotty die.  I tied natural twine around the background panel, adhered the sentiment with foam mounting tape, and added a sprinkling of sparkling clear sequins!

Next I combined stamps from a previous release to create a fun card that I’m going to sneak into my husband’s planner this week! 😉

Love You by Jessica Frost-Ballas for Lil' Inker Designs

I love that little bear from Rustic Christmas!  I stamped him on kraft cardstock and colored him with polychromos colored pencils.  Then I masked off his arm and stamped the balloon stamp from Love You More!  I used two ink pads to ink my balloon to get a little shading.  I stamped the sentiment inside the balloon and added a layer of wink of stella for a little shimmer!  To finish the card I die-cut the whole panel with the Silly Stitched dies and then adhered it to a card base!

And that’s all for today!  I’ll be back tomorrow with my last cards!

You should have arrived from Jennifer and Karen is your next stop.  If you get lost you can find the full hop list below!  Leave a comment on each stop along the hop and one lucky commenter will win the entire January release!

Happy hopping!!

Your shaker is stellar; today and always is such a powerful message of love! And the card for your husband: how lucky he is to have YOU sharing sweet notes for him! I think a bouquet of roses might come home with him after he sees this…

Love this cute bear holding the balloon. I also like how you layered the die cut over the floral pattern on the first card.
