Lawnscaping Challenge #124: Celebration

15 Feb

Good morning!  It’s time for a new Lawnscaping Challenge and we’re challenging you to create a celebration card!  You could be celebrating a birthday, anniversary, engagement, baby shower…the possibilities are endless!

Our fabulous friends at Lawn Fawn are sponsoring this challenge and one lucky winner will win a stamp set of your choice…with all the fabulous upcoming stamps from Lawn Fawn, how will you choose?!  Me, personally, I think I’d have to go with Lovable Legends…I can’t wait to get my hands on that adorable Nessie!! 😉

I decided to create a card that was not specific to any one occasion or event and here’s what I came up with:

I stamped my scene with versafine onyx black ink and heat-embossed it with clear embossing powder.  Then I colored my fish bowl with copics, added wink of stella clear glitter to the water, and covered the bowl with a thin layer of glossy accents.  Once it dried completely I stamped and heat-embossed the sentiment from Fintastic Friends with silver embossing powder.  I die-cut the edge using the Ocean Waves border and added a stripe of patterned Lawn Fawn cardstock for a little pop of color!  I forgot how much fun this stamp set was for scene creating…I have an idea brewing in my head for a large scale ocean scene…might have to work on that during my snow day today!

Head over to the Lawnscaping blog to get all the details on the challenge and see the stunning creations from the rest of the design team!  I look forward to seeing what you will create!  Thanks so much for visiting and have a great Monday!
