Lawnscaping FIT November Hop

27 Nov

Are you doing any crafty Black Friday shopping?  Check out my favorite crafty sales here!

Today is the last Friday of the month so it’s time for the Lawnscaping Facebook Inspiration Team Blog Hop, sponsored by The Ink Road!  This month we’re inspired by the color violet!

Leave a comment on all of the blogs in the hop for a chance to win a $25 gift certificate to The Ink Road!  You should arrived from Lenny’s blog and your next stop is Kate! (A full list of all hop stops is at the bottom of this post!)

Here is my card…a not quite realistic violet ocean scene! 😉

I used the Ocean Wave Borders to create lots of waves in blue, violet, and vellum cardstocks.  Then I stamped my jellyfish in a purple pigment ink, heat-embossed them with clear powder, and colored them with zig clean color real brush markers and a water brush!  For a playful touch I added googly eyes to the jellies after adhering them over and under the waves!  The sentiment is from the Life is Good stamp set and is heat-embossed with silver powder.

I hope my card inspires you to use violet in your creations!  Get hopping and don’t forget to leave a comment on every hop stop for a chance to win $25 to The Ink Road!  Also, make sure you leave your email address so that we can contact you if you win!
