I shared this tag using the My Monthly Hero kit on my blog this weekend:

And today I’m sharing a clean and simple card using the same kit!  You’ll see so many different ways to use this kit for tags or cards and more!

I love all the little dies in the kit and wanted to focus on the mistletoe! So I die-cut the mistletoe branch and the bow from white cardstock and colored them with copic markers.  Unfortunately you can’t really see it in the photo but I scored a white card panel along the sides for some texture and stamped a sentiment from the kit with Intense-ified black ink.

I also added white gel pen accents and a little clear lacquer over the berries for a little more dimension and texture.  It’s simple but quite striking!  You could easily die-cut all of the pieces in the kit and create lots of these CAS cards using different combinations of dies!

And finally I’m sharing one more card using one of the hot foil plate add-ons!

I’m still getting used to my hot foiling but I couldn’t resist using this gorgeous Holly hot foil plate!  I foiled it with a coppery foil on that elegant and warm plum cardstock!  To finish the card I added a die-cut sentiment using coordinating glittery cardstock!  Simple but striking!

And that’s it for me! Head over and pick up your November My Monthly Hero kit and add-ons today before it sells out!

To celebrate the kit release Hero Arts is giving away a $50 gift card as a prize to one blog reader selected from the comments across all of the blogs in the hop so make sure you leave a comment at each hop stop for the most chances to win!  Please comment before 11:59PM EST on Sunday, November 13th!  You should have arrived from Emily and Kelly is your next stop!
