I created and shared this whimsical card earlier this weekend using the kit and today I’m sharing a card using two of the amazing add-ons!

Shine Bright by Jessica Frost-Ballas for Hero Arts

I thought that Fairy Window Fancy die and Star Light Star Bright background stamp were just meant for each other!!  First I inked the background stamp with pale tomato, fresh peach, soft apricot, and butter bar ink and then used my MISTI to stamp it on a piece of white cardstock.  Then I pressed a versamark pad over the entire panel and heat-embossed it with sparkle embossing powder.

Next I die-cut the Fairy Window Fancy die from white glitter cardstock.  I placed a piece of vellum over the back of the die cut and traced inside the wings of the fairy and butterfly.  Then I fussy cut the vellum and adhered it behind the wings of the die.  I applied a thick layer of spectrum noir clear sparkle over the vellum so that the wings would be super sparkly!  Then I adhered the die over the inked background.  Finally I stamped a sentiment from Lucky Star on white cardstock with versafine and heat-embossed it with clear embossing powder.  I trimmed it down to a thin label and adhered it to the card with foam mounting tape.  Pictures don’t do it justice but this card practically glows when it catches the light! Just the way a fairy should! 😉

To celebrate the release Hero Arts is giving away one kit as a prize to one blog reader selected from the comments across all of the blogs in the hop so make sure you leave a comment at each hop stop for the most chances to win!  If you win and have already purchased the kit you will be reimbursed!  Please your comments before 11:59PM EST on Sunday, December 9th at 11:59pm!  Here’s a list of all the stops on the hop:

Another gorgeous creation using this wonderful new kit. The Fairy Window Fancy die is on my favorites list along with the Starlight Background stamp. The vellum under the fairy wings was an excellent touch.
