Simon Says Stamp and Lawn Fawn Flickr Challenge

I was organizing some of my stamps today and found this cute one from Simon Says Stamp…somehow it had actually fallen behind my Expedit and I only found it when I was moving around some patterned paper pads! I remembered that the current joint Simon Says Stamp and Lawn Fawn Flickr Challenge is to use kraft card stock and thought that this would be a perfect stamp set for the challenge!

I stamped the image and sentiment with Versamark Onyx Black onto Neenah Desert Storm card stock and then heat-embossed it with Hero Arts clear embossing powder. Then I stamped the image onto a piece of scrap white cardstock and colored the cat with copic markers. I fussy cut the cat and then adhered it to the kraft card stock with foam mounting tape so that it looks like the cat is popping out of the box! I cut the frame from Lawn Fawn Into the Woods patterned paper for a little extra color!
