Simon Says Stamp July Card Kit!

Good morning!  I’m here with five cards using the new July 2017 card kit from Simon Says Stamp!  The kit is now available for purchase here and if you like the look of it you should head over and snag it quick!  The last few kits have sold out in record time so I wouldn’t wait too long! 😉 You can also subscribe to the kits so you won’t have to worry about missing a future kit!  I had SO much fun with this kit.  When it first showed up I actually wasn’t sure what I would do with it but once I started playing, I couldn’t stop!!

For my first two cards I used the cute wave stamp to create an ombre background and then stamped the sentiment in stark black ink.

For the first card I added a sprinkling of clear confetti to the panel and then layered it over doll pink and audrey blue cardstock.  Simple but bright and cheerful!

For the second card I die-cut the adorable bikini dies using the patterned paper included in the kit!

I adhered the bikinis with foam mounting tape and then adhered the background to audrey blue cardstock and added some of the clear confetti!

Isn’t that bikini adorable!  I wouldn’t be caught dead in one these days but I’m happy to craft with them! 😉

My second card just uses some of the awesome patterned paper included in the kit with that fabulous graphic sentiment and a few black enamel dots!  I used the stitched rectangle dies to die-cut the patterned paper and then layered them together!

For my last two cards I created a hint of a beach scene with the cloud, wave, and seagull stamps.  I used light inks to stamp the images and then created a shaker with the clear confetti.

The subtle colors create a really neat look!

And my final card uses the same basic layout but keeps it even more clean and simple with a fun pop of pink with some patterned paper!

So there’s five ideas for how to use this month’s kit!  I didn’t even get to using the bikini stamps, the other fun sentiments, or half the patterned paper!  This kit is definitely a summer must-have so head over and snag yours before it’s too late!! 😉
