Simon Says Stamp September Best Birthday Kit!

Hello!  The adorable new Simon Says Stamp September Best Birthday card kit is now available and I have a fun shaker card to share using items from the kit!  All the kit items are also available for purchase individually though the kit is well worth it as a whole! 🙂

I love the bright and cheerful patterned papers and embellishments in this kit and thought it was perfect to include them in a kit with shaker tags!  I trimmed down the patterned paper and layered it at an angle on a piece of black cardstock before adhering it to a white card base.  I also trimmed down the sides of the tag to make it a little narrower.  I stamped the sentiment with versafine and heat-embossed it with clear embossing powder.  Then I added a strip of the patterned paper behind the heart opening in the tag.  I filled the shaker with clear sequins, iridescent hearts, and tiny clear beads and sealed up the shaker.  I adhered the tag to the background and added a little twine.  Finally I added some of the hearts and dots from the kit to finish the card!
