Good morning! Well so far I’m on track with another video for day two (find day one and a giveaway here) and today we’re celebrating STAMPtember with a HUGE party!! This isn’t a traditional hop…it really is a fun way to get inspired and go on a “treasure” hunt! There are a bunch of different promotions floating around blog land today…you might find a free t-shirt, free stencil, etc. on different blogs. You can head to the Simon Says Stamp blog for the full list of participating bloggers and search out the promotion that works best for you! Here’s mine:
But let me tell you, I got this adorable t-shirt when I visited Simon Says Stamp last week and it is SO cute! If I were you I’d go for the t-shirt! 😉
Anyway like I mentioned earlier I do have another video to share using the Mod Stripe stencil with distress inks and glimmer paste! You can watch the video below or at my Youtube channel here.
First I blended abandoned coral, picked raspberry, candied apple, and ripe persimmon distress inks onto a piece of strathmore bristol cardstock. Then I taped the Mod Stripe stencil over the panel and applied a thin layer of Nuvo Glimmer Paste in Moonstone!
While it was drying I stamped the large sentiment from Great Things onto black cardstock and heat-embossed it with white embossing powder before die-cutting it with the coordinating die. Then I stamped the rest of the sentiment with versafine and heat-embossed it with clear embossing powder before cutting them into thin strips with the Sentiment Label dies! I adhered the sentiment to the stenciled panel with foam mounting tape and added a few gems to finish the card! And then I proceeded to sing that song the rest of the day! 😉
Thanks so much for stopping by and I’ll see you tomorrow!
