Introducing a New Line over at Colorado Craft Company (+GIVEAWAYS!)

Good morning!  I’m so excited to be hopping along to celebrate the newest line from Colorado Craft Company!  Kris Lauren with Pretty Little Lines is the newest artist for Colorado Craft Company and she has some of the cutest designs! I fell hard for the napping mouse in This is the Life Toadstool and that’s what I used today!

I started by blending a background of Tattered Rose, Festive Berries, Aged Mahogany, and Black Soot distress oxide ink on a panel of heavystock cardstock.  I let it dry completely and then stamped the grass and sentiment from This is the Life Toadstool with versafine and heat-embossed it with clear embossing powder.

Next I stamped the mouse, mushroom, and ladybug with versafine and heat-embossed them with clear embossing powder. I colored them with copic markers and then die-cut them with the coordinating dies.  I used the following colors:

• Mouse: R0000, R00, R02, T0, T2, T4, T6
• Mushroom: E40, E70, E71, E74, E77, R35, R37, R39, R89
• Ladybug: R35, R37, R39

I adhered the images to my blended background with foam mounting tape and then added a few white gel pen accents.  Finally I added a little nuvo crystal glaze to the ladybug and the white spots of the mushroom for a little extra shine!  And that’s it!
