Essentials by Ellen October Release Hop (VIDEO + GIVEAWAYS!)

6 Oct

Good afternoon and Happy Sunday!  I am so excited to be hopping along to celebrate the fabulous Essentials by Ellen October release from Ellen Hutson!  I just love the Mondo Floral series by Julie Ebersole and couldn’t wait to play with the gorgeous new Mondo Chrysanthemum!!

I have a video for today’s card that you can watch below or over at my YouTube channel!

To start I stamped the flower and leaves onto strathmore bristol smooth surface cardstock with versamark and heat-embossed them with gold tinsel embossing powder.  Then I watercolored them using Altenew watercolor brush markers in Sunkissed, Autumn Blaze, Rubellite, Fresh Lemon, Emerald, and Jet Black.  Once I was finished watercoloring I die-cut the images with the coordinating dies and then went over the white edges with a black copic marker!

Hello by Jessica Frost-Ballas for Ellen Hutson

Then I stamped a few more leaves and the sentiment from Totally Random Sayings vol.3 onto an A2 panel of black cardstock and heat-embossed with gold tinsel embossing powder.  I adhered the leaves with ATG adhesive and used foam mounting tape to pop up the flower.  Finally I added a few metallic gold sequins to finish the card!

And that’s it!  I hope you enjoyed my video today!!  And make sure to check out the Ellen Hutson blog tomorrow for another video from me! 😉

One random commenter will win $25 to the Ellen Hutson shop and another commenter will win the whole October Essentials by Ellen release!!! For a chance to win, make sure to leave comments at each stop along the hop! Comment before Sunday, October 13th at 11:59pm PST. Winners will be notified by Ellen Hutson via email.  You should have arrived from Emily and Carly is your next stop!

Thanks so much for stopping by, have a fabulous day, and happy hopping!
