Hero Arts 2021 Catalog Blog Hop (+GIVEAWAYS!)

17 Feb

Good afternoon!  The newest release from Hero Arts is now available and today we’re hopping to celebrate!! I’m sharing four cards using my favorite products from the new catalog release!  You can find the all of the new release products HERE!

Lilypond Heroscape by Jessica Frost-Ballas for Hero Arts

I think my most favorite set of the release might be the new Lilypond Heroscape!  I ink-blended a sky using different purple inks on lavender cardstock.  Then I stamped the rest of the layered scene with Hero Arts inks, die-cut them with the coordinating frame cuts and adhered them to the sky.  I finished the card with a gold embossed sentiment.  It’s just so peaceful!

Happy Birthday To You by Jessica Frost-Ballas for Hero Arts

I also LOVE the new Message Coverplate dies!  They’re perfect for shaker cards or cardstock layering or BOTH!  For my first card I die-cut the Birthday Messages Coverplate die with pitch black cardstock and added acetate behind it to create a shaker.  I love that the letters don’t have little pieces that need to be fit back in (like on the ‘a’ or ‘o’) which makes them perfect for quick cards!  There’s also a nice big border on the die so it’s quick and easy to add foam mounting tape, too!  No need to fiddle with super thin strips of tape!  I trimmed some of the colored cardstocks into 1/4″ strips, layered them together, filled the shaker with clear sequins, and then sealed the card with the rainbow panel!

Thank You So Much by Jessica Frost-Ballas for Hero Arts

For my second card I used more of my cardstock rainbow behind a few of the words and left some on the black panel.  I added the Thank You Messages Coverplate die cut from white cardstock on the top to finish the card!  I like the pop of black to emphasize the message!

Big Hugs by Jessica Frost-Ballas for Hero Arts

Last but not least I ink-blended a background using a few of my favorite tropical inks.  Then I die-cut the Through the Woods window die twice from white cardstock and layered them together over my blended background.  I finished it with a bold sentiment from the new Big Hugs XL stamp and cut set!

And that’s it for me!  Head over and check out the rest of the catalog release and then make sure to hop along for lots of inspiration!!

To celebrate the release Hero Arts is giving away three $50 gift cards as a prize to three blog readers selected from the comments across all of the blogs in the hop so make sure you leave a comment at each hop stop for the most chances to win!  Please comment before 11:59PM PST on Wednesday, February 24th!  You should have arrived from Ilina and Libby is your next stop!

Thanks so much for visiting and enjoy the hop!!
