Good morning! Hero Arts is celebrating 45 years, and we are honored and humbled that Concord & 9th is sharing in the celebration! A special “Partners” Hero Arts + Concord & 9th 6×8 clear set, and other related products, is available at Hero Arts starting June 26, and will be available online starting July 10. This collaborative set is a Concord & 9th turnabout but with a Hero Arts twist! 😉 Here’s what I created using the new set!
Isn’t that fun?! I started by stamping the turnabout using ultra pink, raspberry jam, tide pool, and navy inks. After the panel was dry I turned it around in my MISTI four more times inking with versamark over the dye inks. Then I heat-embossed it with sparkle embossing powder before die-cutting it with the second to largest rounded rectangle infinity die! I adhered that panel to a black card panel and then to a white card base.
Next I stamped the You Amaze me with versafine and heat-embossed it with black sparkle embossing powder. Then I stamped the outline shadow around the sentiment with versafine and heat-embossed it with black embossing powder before die-cutting it with the rounded rectangle die. I colored the hearts and star with copic markers and then adhered it to the turnabout panel with foam mounting tape to finish the card!
And that’s it!

I always love your backgrounds and while this one is a little different than most, it’s just as fabulous. Because you embossed the message it looks as though it’s written in chalk on a chalkboard. Maybe because I’m old enough to remember chalkboards being all that their was in the classroom, but I just really like that look. As always, thank you for sharing your work.
