Good afternoon! The holiday catalog release from Hero Arts is now available and today we’re hopping to celebrate!! I’m sharing a few cards using my favorite products from the new catalog release! You can find all of the new release products HERE!
I love navy and silver for holiday cards and used that theme for both of today’s cards! I blended a little Cornflower Core ink onto opposite corners of a panel of white cardstock using a blending brush for a very soft effect. Then I die-cut the Snowflake Corner Fancy Die from silver glitter and Nautical cardstock and adhered the silver glitter cardstock to the same corners of the white cardstock. I added a sentiment from the Season Words Fancy Dies die-cut with the same two cardstocks. Finally I cut apart a few of the Nautical cardstock snowflakes and adhered them around the sentiment!
I love the new Winter Scenics set from Hero Arts as I adore silhouette scenes! So I stamped one of them onto a panel of Lapis cardstock with Nautical Core ink. Then I stamped the Hero Greetings Happy Holidays with Nautical Core ink. I also blended a little Nautical Core ink around the edges and top of the panel. I blended a little Pitch Black Core ink at the top to really give the scene a lot of contrast. Finally I foiled the Happy Holidays Foil & Cut around the Hero Greetings to add a little shimmer with some shiny silver foil. I trimmed the Lapis panel down and adhered it to a white card base to finish the card.
