Good morning!! It’s time for a new Lawn Fawnatics challenge and we have a really pretty inspiration photo challenge for the holiday season! I can’t wait to see what you’ll create!!
And here’s what I created:
To start I used the colors of the pretty bokeh inspiration photo for my background by blending shaded lilac, victorian velvet, and tattered rose distress oxide ink onto a panel of strathmore bristol cardstock. Then I added splatters of water and rose gold metallic paint. I let that dry and then stamped circles from the Let’s Bokeh set with white pigment ink and set it with my heat gun. Then I stamped more circles but this time I heat-embossed them with satin pearl embossing powder. Finally I die-cut the panel with the large stitched slimline die.
Next I built my little winter fox with the Woodland Critter Hugger and Winter add-on die sets. I used cardstock for the majority of the fox but used copics for her cheeks, ears, scarf, and gloves. I decided to make the card a little interactive and added a 2021 banner on twine in her paws. I have a removable glue dot holding her arms closed so that they can be opened to reveal the full sentiment!
And now it’s your turn! I can’t wait to see what you create!! You can link up your entries on the Lawn Fawnatics blog!
Thanks so much for visiting and have an amazing day!
