To start I pulled out the Best Mom stamps and dies again! 😉

I wanted to go for a different color palette so I stamped the flowers with navy ink, the leaves with a cool grey ink, and the flower center with yellow.  Then I added yellow nuvo drops to the flower center and set that aside to dry while I worked on the rest of the card.

I die-cut the Dotted Chevron cover up die with white cardstock and layered that on a white card base.  Then I stamped the sentiment from One Love and trimmed it down to a skinny label.  I adhered that to the top of the panel and then added my flower on top!  This would be a pretty design for a wedding card and you could easily customize that flower with any combination of colors!

My next card has A LOT going on though you can’t really see it all in the photograph.  First I stamped the Brushed Plaid stamp onto a piece of black cardstock with versamark and heat-embossed it with clear embossing powder.  Then I created a shaker tag from white cardstock and rainbow patterned paper using the new Shaker Tag set.

I stamped the sentiment from Grad Class on the bottom panel of the shaker and filled it with clear confetti, sparkling clear sequins, and silver stars.  I adhered that over my black card base and added a few black stars to the base.

And that’s it for the April release!  Here’s one more look at my release cards! 🙂

You should have arrived from Jennifer and Karen is your next stop.  If you get lost you can find the full hop list below!  Leave a comment on each stop along the hop and one lucky commenter will win the entire April release!  Good luck and happy hopping!!

Love your cards Jessica and the first one could totally be used for ANY occasion. THAT I love! (Sometimes its good to have a basic ‘go to’ design for when you need something in a hurry! This fits the bill.)
I am “jones-ing” for that Shaker Tag die. LOL LOVE it and the way you used it to frame your sentiment with the rainbow striped paper is great!

Such pretty cards. I really like that large flower and how you used the plaid background and embossed it in clear powder on the black cardstock. The effect is really nice.
