Lawnscaping Challenge #140: Color Scheme

17 Oct

Good morning!  It’s time for a new Lawnscaping Challenge and we’re challenging you to use purple, black, and one additional color of your choice for your project…

This time our fabulous friends at Lawn Fawn are sponsoring this challenge and one lucky winner will win a stamp set of your choice!!  Here’s my card using purple, black and white:I thought purple, black, and white would be perfect for a Halloween-themed card!  I blended wilted violet distress ink onto a piece of watercolor cardstock and spritzed it with shimmer spray.  Then I die-cut the new Little Town border die from black cardstock and adhered it to my distress ink background.  I stamped the sentiment from Spooktacular onto the black cardstock with versamark and heat-embossed it with white embossing powder.  Finally I stamped the ghost from Spooktacular onto white cardstock, fussy cut him, and adhered him to my card with foam mounting tape.  Simple but striking with that fun pop of eerie purple! Thanks so much for visiting and have a wonderful day!

suppliesInterested in the products I used?  To make them easy for you to find, I have listed them below. (Affiliate disclosure can be found here). Your purchases help keep my blog running and I thank you for the support!)
