Good morning! Today I’m excited to be sharing some inspiration using the new release from Penguin Palace and their revolutionary Stencils 360 tool! I’m using two layers of the Fancy Gift Bows stencil set blended with distress oxide ink!
I’m a bit under the weather this week with strep throat and bad seasonal allergies so I wasn’t able to film a video for this card but you can find another video using the Stencils 360 Starter Kit HERE and I’ll be sharing a new video with the Stencils 360 soon! There are four layering stencils in the Fancy Gift Bows stencil set but I only used one of the 8″ stencils with the 6″ stencil. I started by blending spun sugar, picked raspberry, shaded lilac, and tumbled glass distress oxide ink over the 8″ stencil layer using the Stencils 360 tool. It is so easy and effortless to get what seems like a really intricate design using the Stencils 360 tool! With four stencils there are endless combinations you can choose to get different designs!
Once I was finished blending the first layer I added a layer of clear glitter paste on top using the 6″ stencil. I love how the sparkle in the glitter paste picks up the different ink colors! I set that aside to dry while I stamped the sentiment from So Blessed, heat-embossed it with gold embossing powder, and die cut it with the coordinating dies. Once my background panel was dry I trimmed it down to an A2 card base and adhered the sentiment with foam mounting tape. Finally I finished the card with a few sparkly metallic gold sequins!
