Good morning!! There’s a new release from Simon Says Stamp and we’re Sending Sunshine!! 🙂 I’ll be back tomorrow with a fun blog hop but here’s a look at some of my favorite items from the new release and a quick card to share! Also, I have a quick favor to ask that I’ll mention at the bottom of my post! 😉
I have lots to share using the new release but my first card was inspired by Cathy Zielske and Laura Bassen!
I started by freehand stamping a hexagon pattern using the Hex Yeah set and inks from Simon Says Stamp. I used Apricot and Coral Reef for the peachy shades and Maliblue, Scuba, and High Dive for the teal shades.
Next I die-cut the Summertime die from black cardstock and adhered it to my card base. I stamped the rest of the sentiment from Four Seasons onto white cardstock with versafine and heat-embossed it with clear embossing powder. I trimmed it down to a label and adhered it to the card with foam mounting tape! Quick and easy but really fun to create! I’d love to use a similar layout with different color palettes and sentiments!
Thanks so much for stopping by and have a wonderful Wednesday!
Here’s my quick favor. I think I may be having a problem with either my linking system or my affiliate codes. If you happen to use one of my links to shop the Sending Sunshine release could you please shoot me an email at JessicaAFrost@gmail.com and let me know what time you placed your order (you don’t have to admit the total…ha) but that should help me see if the sales are going through. Things seem to be a bit wonky so I’m trying to figure out what’s going on. Thanks!! 🙂
