Clearly Besotted: Lift Me Up STAMPtember Day 11 (+VIDEO!)

11 Sep

Hello!  The next exclusive STAMPtember collaboration is here and it’s TWO sets from the fabulous Clearly Besotted: Lift Me Up and Magnificent Magnolias!!  I’m using Lift Me Up today and hope to use the Magnolias later this week! 😉 These are limited STAMPtember set and once they sell out they’re gone for good so make sure you snag yours soon!  Several STAMPtember sets have sold out recently so don’t wait too long to grab the ones you want! 🙂

I have a video for today’s trifold card that you can watch below or at my YouTube channel:

I decided to change things up a bit today and created a trifold card with a little ink blending and copic coloring…and of course, glitter! 😉

To start I trimmed a piece of white cardstock to 5″ by 10.5″ by 10 marked it every 3.5″ along the longest side so that I knew where the folds would be.  Then I stamped the images from Lift Me Up onto the panel with copic-friendly intense black ink. I also stamped the images onto post-it notes and fussy cut the post-it notes to create masks for my stamped images.  I placed the masks over the images and added a little stenciling with the Simon Says Stamp Clouds for Days stencil and distress oxides!  I started with spun sugar distress oxides and then blended to shaded lilac, tumbled glass, and blueprint sketch! I spritzed it with iridescent spray, removed the masks, and let it dry.

Once the oxides were dry I colored my images with copic markers.  Next I scored the card panel at 3.5″ and 7″ and then used a bone folder to crease the folds. This created a 3.5″ by 5″ card that easily fits into a regular A2 envelope but can be unfolded to create this fun scene!

Then I added accents with spectrum noir clear sparkle and a black glaze pen. I also used a copic multiliner to connect the lines of the baskets to the balloons.  I stamped the sentiment with versafine and heat-embossed it with clear embossing powder.  Then, as you’ve seen in many of my recents cards, I couldn’t resist adding a little glitter. I covered the highest balloon with nuvo crystal glaze and then sprinkled it with prisma and chunky glitter. Then I added lines of crystal glaze around some of the clouds and sprinkled them with glitter. Once everything dried I added a few accents with a white gel pen to finish the card.

Thanks so much for visiting and have a fantastic day!

I’m crazy about that adorable card. Possibly because of the glitter on the clouds!

Oh so love this sample! But they were all out of the bundles by the time I got there. So hoping there will be more available as I so want these!
