A Blog Named Hero: Challenge – CAS

6 Feb

Good morning!  It’s time for a new challenge over at A Blog Named Hero and this month we’re challenging you to create something CAS!  I received a beautiful stamp set from our February collaborating company, Jane’s Doodles, and I immediately knew what Hero Arts stamp set I wanted to combine it with!

Grateful for you by Jessica Frost-Ballas for A Blog Named Hero

I thought it would pair perfectly with the Grateful Leaves set from Hero Arts and it did!  I started by inking the maple leaf from Grateful Leaves with distress ink and spritzed it lightly with water before stamping it onto my card panel.  Once it dried I stamped the leaves from Jane’s Doodles in a line across the panel.  Once it was totally dry I stamped the veins of the leaves and the sentiment with versamark and heat-embossed them with gold embossing powder.

Grateful for you by Jessica Frost-Ballas for A Blog Named Hero

Many thanks to Jane’s Doodles for sponsoring our challenge this month and I can’t wait to see what you create!  Head over to A Blog Named Hero to see inspiration from the rest of the design team and more details on the challenge!  Thanks so much for visiting and have a wonderful day!
