Chibitronics and Lawn Fawn Collaboration

7 Nov

This is my second post for today!  For the new Lawnscaping challenge please scroll down or click here!

Good morning!  Today I’ve got a Chibitronics collaboration featuring one of my favorite stamp companies: Lawn Fawn!  You can find the design team projects from the Lawn Fawn team here and from the Chibitronics team here!  And make sure to head to the Lawn Fawn blog for info on our giveaway!

I created an interactive shaker gift tag that can be turned into an ornament!

And here’s what it looks like when the lights go out! 😉

It’s a pretty thick tag (4 layers of foam mounting tape and three layers of cardstock!) but it’s perfect as an ornament!  I started by stamping the snow globe and coloring it with copic markers.  I added glossy accents to the sentiment and set it aside to dry.  Next I blended distress ink onto a piece of watercolor paper and then stamped the reindeer and sleigh.  I took a pin and poked a hole for Rudolph’s red nose.  I created the shaker with white microbeads and dies and sealed it up.  Next I created a circuit for my shaker:

I didn’t have a red light but I used a white light and colored over it with a red marker!  Instant Rudolph nose! 😉  So that’s my project!  Make sure you head over to the Lawn Fawn and Chibitronics blogs to see all of the other projects!  Thanks so much for visiting and have a wonderful day!
