Christmas Card Challenges #22: Color Inspiration

3 May

Good morning and welcome to another Christmas Card Challenge!  This week we have a beautiful and unusual color palette for your inspiration!

HolidayPalette

I can honestly say that I don’t think I’ve ever tried to combine these colors together in a card but I was really happy with the end result!  Here’s my card:

I started off by stamping the Falling Flakes from Neat and Tangled with WPlus9 Sweet Gelato ink onto Bazzill Candy Hearts cardstock.  Then I stamped the sentiment from Very Merry with versamark and heat-embossed it with Wow gold embossing powder.  I added a sprinkle of Medallion Gold sequins from The Ton.  To finish the card, I adhered the panel to a top-folding card base of Simon Says Stamps Fog Gray cardstock.

I hope you’ll play along with this fun color palette and I look forward to seeing your entries this week!  And for even more inspiration, don’t forget to visit the rest of the design team!
